12 Best Fun Free Things to Do in Indianapolis | Traveling MomThe Farmer’s House Museum is free to the public 1 to 5 pm during the summers Monday through Friday. it is located at 529 college ave in downtown Bloomington. There is also a website to look at http://www.bloomington.in.us/~farmerhm

On the last Saturday of each month between the hours of 1 and 4pm (or by appointment)you can go to the Hinkle-Garton Farmstead Community Historic Site which is a part of the Bloomington Restorations, Inc. it is free and located at 2920 E. 10th St. in Bloomington. This is a queen Anne style home built on a farm built in the mid 1800s. This was setup to show a representation of what life was like during this period in time. The John Waldron Arts center at 122 S Walnut St in Bloomington features over two dozen exhibitions annually that highlights fine and contemporary art and crafts from local and regional artists as well as the special exhibitions and the holidays artists market. It is free to the public and open Mon – Fri 11am to 5pm and on sat 11am to 3pm. There is a website www.artlives.org
